I have a domain from another Domain Registrar, can I transfer it to Pangalan.com?
If your domain expired, you immediately lose the rights. That is why Pangalan.com sends you a notification via email 30 days prior to your expiry date. You will need to immediately take action so that you will not lose your domain. If the owner of a domain does not renew during the expiration date of the domain, the domain goes into expired status. For 40 days, the domain is in a Grace Period where all services are shut off, but the domain owner may still renew the domain for a standard renewal fee. After expired status, the domain goes into the Redemption Period for more or less 35 days which ON HOLD by ICANN*(Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers), however, corresponding fees are incurred for redeeming the domain which is PHP8,000.00. *ICANN：It is an association not for profit in U.S.A., with a control of assigning resources of address on the Internet for example domain name and IP address, and with authority to officially endorse registrars transacting registration of domain.
Can I transfer a domain from Pangalan.com to another registrar?
Yes, you may transfer your domain to Pangalan.com provided that it is at least one (1) month prior to its expiration. This is to give ample time between Pangalan.com and your previous registrar to process the transfer. Requirements for the Domain Name are unlocked, whois disabled and the EPP Code (Auth Code).
Yes, you may transfer your domain to another registrar provided that it is 60 days after its initial registration or previous transfer. You must specify the reason for the transfer, and settle a Domain Transfer fee of PHP 1,000.00 for Pangalan.com to process the transfer, unlock your domain, and provide you with the Auth-Info Code (EPP Code) of your domain.
